Students from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University won the first prize in the 3rd National Postgraduate Innovation and Creativity Competition on “Dual Carbon” Goals. Their project, “High-Efficiency Flexible Organic Photovoltaics,” achieved a world record in organic photovoltaic efficiency. The team developed an optimization model using resonant soft X-ray scattering technology and combined it with co-solvent processing techniques to improve efficiency. This innovation has the potential to revolutionize the application of photovoltaics in flexible electronics, new energy vehicles, and building exteriors, contributing to China’s “3060” carbon goals.
